Yassin «Narcy» Alsalman is a hip hop MC, journalist, and political activist born in Dubai in 1982 to parents from Iraq. He grew up in Montreal, Canada and spent much of his youth moving back and forth between Canada and the United Arab Emirates. With his music he became a spokesperson for a new generation of Arabs living abroad.
