Biography
Tomáš Šenkyřík studied musicology and aesthetics, and from 1999 to 2008 he worked as an ethnomusicologist at the Roma Museum in Brno. He is currently the deputy mayor of the village of Židlochovice, where he lives with his family. He has released several albums with his former band, and he also composes electroacoustic music. Field recordings of predominantly natural soundscapes currently constitute the central focus of his work. Follow him on Youtube, Spotify, Bandcamp, or SoundCloud.
