Rebecca Favale is a Ph.D. candidate in musicology and ethnomusicology at the University of Milan. She is a founding member of the ITER Research Ensemble, a research-led choir that conducts choral research. Her research interests include ethnomusicology, sound studies, and the sociology of music.In 2024, she earned an MA in musicology from the University of Pavia. She participated in the Venice Biennale College in 2023 and 2024 for the project called Writing about Music, Writing in Residence. In 2024, she interned at Norient in Bern, Switzerland.
