Martin Schröder is a PhD student at the University of Music and Drama Rostock. He studied music education, history and piano in Rostock and Glasgow. He’s currently working on a thesis about the post-war folk revival in Scotland and the development of Gaelic music. Apart from his activities in the academic field, Martin works as a piano teacher and is keyboarder and singer in various bands and ensembles.
