Luigi Monteanni is an independent anthropologist currently working on Sundanese trance performances and contemporary Indonesian urban sound culture. He is also the co-founder of «fifth world music» label Artetetra. He has recently curated, along with Gigi Priadji, the collection of field recordings: The Sacred Entertainment, released in 2019 on Discrepant, and the work Om Telolet Om on Canti Magnetici (2017).
