John Hutnyk is the author of several books on music, such as Critique of Exotica (2000) and Pantomime Terror (2014), he has taught the book of Capital recently at Minar Sinan University in Istanbul, Turkey, Zeppelin and Hamburg Universities, Germany, and at Nagoya City University in Japan.
