Tony Klein, born in London in 1948, living in Sweden since 1969, studied medicine in Cambridge and Uppsala. Musician and musical researcher by avocation, he is particularly devoted to early 20th century Greek music, but also to lutes of the renaissance and baroque, and to many other plucked-string musical worlds. While also academically trained in art history, English, musicology and social anthropology, he is by profession a psychotherapist and psychiatrist, and lives with his wife and family in Uppsala, where he has his practice.
