Rebecca Favale studied musicology (MA) at the University of Pavia and is now based in Milan. Her research interests include ethnomusicology, popular music studies, and sociology of music. She was part of the 2023 Venice Biennale College for the project call «Writing about music, writing in residence». She’s a member of the ITER Research Ensemble, a research-led choir doing choral research. In 2024, she was doing an internship at Norient in Bern, Switzerland.
