Ailín Grad aka Aylu designs audio spaces from Buenos Aires and is mostly known for potent psychotropic juke and footwork experiments. Aylu takes ordinary objects and sounds and pieces them together into electro-acoustic systems: slender gears feathering in complex geometries. Aylu’s works are a small system of electroacoustic pieces. Gears, geometries, instruments, and designs of a fuzzy and unexpected space. She tries to explore different materials and their textures, seeking to resignify sounds that belong to our daily listening and to the soundscapes surrounding us.
