Voice of a Collective Self
«In my lyrics, I wanted to speak from the position of the voice of a collective self, a voice that is multiple in its gender and class, not merely for the sake of diversity, but rather because we live under common conditions.»
The quote is taken from the interview «The Keys to the Kingdom: A Conversation with Hassan Khan» by Madamasr, published 2021. Last accessed on April 18, 2021.
