Geke Zaal (@gakaloca) is an Amsterdam-based graphic designer. She graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2019. Since then, she has had her own practice, mainly working in the cultural field where she designs for music events, movie screenings, or exhibitions. Her work is mostly typographic; by treating language as an image she experiments with both the legibility of text and the playfulness of language.
