E.R. Pulgar is a Venezuelan American poet, translator, and music journalist. They are the author of Sonnet to the Serpent and Other Poems (Wonder) and the translator of Isadoro Saturno’s Dear Parent or Guardian (UDP). Their poems and translations have appeared in Poetry Daily, Changes Review, Epiphany Lit, the Poetry Project Newsletter, and elsewhere. They are a contributing writer at SPIN, and their cultural criticism and reporting has appeared in Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Resident Advisor, i-D, and elsewhere. They are currently translating the work of Miguel James and others, editing their first full-length collection of poems, and working on a novel about redemption
