Claudia Popovici (1989) was born in Romania and grew up in Germany. She studied art/photography at the Zurich University of the Arts in Zurich and in São Paulo, Brazil. She works as a photographer, filmmaker, and video artist in the field of theater/live and music performances, where she focuses on the act of documentation. She is part of the collective Les Mémoires d’Helène and a cultural producer for art festivals in Zurich, Switzerland. Since March 2021, she is part of the international curatorial team of the Norient Festival.
