contributors
We invite you, researchers, academics, journalists, filmmakers, photographers, podcast and broadcast producers, video artists, musicians, DJs, ethnographers, storytellers, niche lovers, cultural workers, pop culture geeks, speakers, moderators, curators, educators, graphic designers, programmers, coders, and other thinkers and artists, young and old, established or not, to connect with cultural creatives worldwide.
We Search for
words, sounds, images, films, and experimental media pieces that offer inspiring or controversial reflections of hopes, dreams and challenges of the now.
We Are
a community of practice and knowledge that merges quality journalism, multi-disciplinary academic and artistic research, documentaries and films, engaged photography, and other experimental formats.
Our Goal Is
to encourage, support and learn from each other, to highlight and share each other’s publications and releases, to counter the defining power of algorithms, and to reach people all over the world.
We like to highlight new music and strong artistic positions that speak of what is thinkable and possible today. We like sounds and noises that render our lives today and tomorrow. We experiment with new formats to present our research in new ways.
The Norient Space «The Now in Sound» is a prototype and will grow organically with its contributors.
