Andrea May (BRAZIL) is a visual and sound artist, independent curator and master student in Visual Arts, with research in the hybridization of artistic languages ​​with emphasis on the aesthetics of noise. Also known as May HD acts professionally as a DJ and VJ.

Her solo project «Noisy Turntablism» consists of free improvisation using prepared or destroyed vinyl records that, together with electronic effects, connect experimentalism to the power of the sensitive female in visceral sound creations. Performed at CMC Festival (2018 and 2019), Festival DIGITALIA, CURTO CIRCUITO at Audio Rebel (RJ), Centro da Terra (SP), Fauhaus (SP), Casa Híbrido (BH), developing partnerships with artists such as Junix 11, Ida Toninato (Canada), Bella, Marcela Lucatelli, Nahnati Francischini, Aishá Roriz, among others.
