Die kanadische A Cappella Gruppe Les Charbonniers de L’Enfer hat sich mit La Nef, dem Ensemble für alte und zeitgenössische Musik, und der Soprano-Sängerin Meredith Hall zusammengetan, um traditionelle Lieder aus Quebec neu zu vertonen. Mit ihrem ungewöhnlichem französischen Akzent singen die Sänger von Kriegen und Fernweh. Ihre Lieder sind eingebetet in folkloristischer Fiddlermusik, zeitgenössischen Klängen und Melodien der alten Musik. Keine alltägliche musikalische Reise.
