Ramy Essam, Protestsänger aus Ägypten, erhält den Freemuse Award 2011. Sein Song “Irhal” (“Hau ab”) wurde letzten Februar zur Hymne der Proteste auf dem Kairoer Tahrir-Platz. Nun wird er für sein Engagement geehrt.
