Pie Are Squared is Italy based, Egyptian musician and sound artist Mohammed Ashraf. His music combines elements of ambient, drone, found sound, and post-rock to create sprawling soundscapes that cover everything from fragile, reverb-laden atmospheres to distorted walls of sound. He is also a member of numerous bands and projects that include BENNU, Postvorta, and Void of Sleep. Mohammed is also a music journalist, most recently covering electronic music for Middle Eastern publication Ma3azef in addition to hosting a monthly radio show on CAMP Radio.
