The mad Japanese Noise Rock Metal combo is definitely alive and rising as the title of their 2010 live release is suggesting. Norient reporters spotted them at the Swiss cult club Dachstock Reitschule in Bern and were flabbergasted once more. No new songs, but still fresh and somehow newer than ever K.K. Null, Mitsuru Tabata and Tatsuya Yoshida push the loud speakers to the limit with grace. They swallow the crazyness of bands they are also involved in such as The Ruins, The Boredoms or Acid Mothers Temple. Then they spit it out as a very tight artistic hard core rock’n'roll.
The live album is worth getting even though none of the songs are new. They sound new since they have been mixed in a very peculiar way. And the gentlemen of noise metal are using Kaosspads now.
