There will be a Africa edition of the NORIENT MUSIKFILM FESTIVAL at the Toffie Popular Culture Festival from 24th until 26th of March 2011 in Capetown, South Africa.
24th of March 2011 – 18:30 – Screening «Taqwacore: The Birth of Punk Islam» – documentary by Omar Majeed, U.S.A./Pakistan, 2009, 80 min., English/Urdu with English subtitles.
26th of March 2011 – 16:00 – Screening «We don’t Care about Music Anyway …» – documentary by Cédric Dupire and Gaspard Kuentz, France/Japan, 2009, 80 min., Japanese with English subtitles.
